Where the Ganga leaves the mountains and meets the plains — one of Hinduism's seven holiest cities and the starting point of every Char Dham journey.
Har Ki Pauri & Ganga Aarti
Every evening, thousands gather along the ghat as diyas float down the Ganga and priests perform the aarti in unison. It's one of those experiences that photos never quite capture — you have to stand there to feel it.
One of the Sapta Puri
Haridwar is counted among the seven holiest cities in Hindu tradition and has hosted the Kumbh Mela for centuries, drawing pilgrims from across the country and beyond every twelve years.
Gateway to Char Dham
Kedarnath, Badrinath, Gangotri, and Yamunotri — nearly every pilgrim's road journey to these four shrines begins right here in Haridwar, making it the practical starting point for your entire yatra.
